NOAAH Chicago
The Chicago Chapter lost an influential advocate with the passing of Commissioner Mary Wiggins, president of the Central Advisory Council, and NOAAH board member. Elections, scheduled for the end of March, will determine Chicago’s resident leaders, and impact the chapter’s membership.
Although many of our professional members have been negatively affected by downsizing governments and downturns the housing industry generally, we are closely monitoring developing opportunities associated with the Stimulus Package in Illinois and Chicago’s 2016 Olympic bid. In keeping with NOAAH’s mission of advocacy for residents and industry professionals, the chapter is currently working with partners to organize and assist local resident owned businesses, and will reach out nationally for advice and assistance.
